1. AWS Account Setup: Overlooking best practices for setting up their AWS account.
2. Logging and Monitoring: Lacking effective logging and monitoring solutions. Team didn’t know when their application was not working.
3. Cost Management: Very high AWS bills without any major resource usage.
4. Secrets Management: Managing secrets through simple environment variables. Everything was visible to all the team.
5. Database Security: Lacking a secure self-hosted MongoDB cluster with SSL encryption.

5. Automated EKS Cluster Creation: Automation streamlined the setup and management of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters, reducing manual effort and enhancing efficiency.
6. AWS Client VPN Automation: Developed automation for AWS Client VPN, simplifying client access management for all the users and their creation.
7. Kubernetes Secret Management: The secrets-store-csi-driver integrated with AWS Secrets Manager for secure secrets management in Kubernetes.
8. MongoDB Cluster Setup: A self-hosted MongoDB cluster with SSL encryption was established for high availability and data security.
9. CI/CD Implementation: CircleCI was implemented to automate continuous integration and deployment.
10. Splunk Agent Configuration: A Python script configured Splunk Agents for proper logging and monitoring setup.
11. Alerting and Notifications: Customized alerts in Splunk and Slack integration ensured real-time notifications for critical events.
